Man.  Through a series of recs and wanderings on YouTube, I wandered back into a song Raine had mentioned months ago (a couple years, maybe), Florence and the Machine's Drumming Song.  I so very much want an HL vid to this because the song makes me think of hearing other immortals.  ::amused:: Which might just be me.  But the link to the official ( Read more... )

He was an amazing banjo player, said by many to have invented three-finger picking (including by Steve Martin, who invented five-finger picking).  He also wrote a song or two that most of us would know if we heard them.  I would say rest in peace, but I suspect a pick-up band is a lot more likely if he gets a say in the afterlife.
